Our clients span across 15 different categories, in both vendor/sellers, based in 6 different countries, and range from startups to multibillion dollar companies. Required Experience: 1+ years of experience in product inspection working at TUVRheinland, Bureau Veritas, or SGS; Ideally with experience in the textile and apparel sector. Compensation 5,000–12,000 Daily Rate Required Skills Familiarity with product inspections: assess consumer goods for quality, quantity, and compliance with specific criteria at various stages of the production process, from initial checks to final random inspections. General Responsibilities: 1. Ability to travel to manufacturing sites located in and around Bengaluru. Travel to other states is possible, but it is negotiable. 2. Professionally communicate with factories, supervisors and stakeholders about inspection findings and progress. 3. Maintain detailed records, reports and photographs to document inspection progress. 4. Ability to work independently & manage time effectively. Specific Job Duties: Conduct visual and functional inspections of consumer products, including but not limited to electronics, textiles, toys, appliances, and packaged goods at different production & packaging stages. Verify compliance with national and international safety standards, labeling requirements, and product specifications. Use inspection tools and equipment (e.g., calipers, scales, barcode scanners) to measure and test product features. Document findings and create inspection reports with photographs and data to support conclusions. Maintain accurate inspection records, photos, and detailed reports for internal quality reviews and compliance audits. Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality control teams to address quality issues and recommend corrective actions. Monitor and track defect trends and assist in identifying root causes. Assist with product sampling and testing protocols. Stay up to date with industry regulations, safety guidelines, and quality assurance best practices.
