Consumer Banking Fraud Risk Strategy Digital Payments - Associate

As a Strategic Analytics Associate in the Fraud-Risk Strategy team, your role involves generating thoughtful analytics and recommendations to the business regarding 1st-Party (Scams & Wrongdoer/ Mule) and 3rd Party (Account-Takeover, Third-Party-Inducement) risk identification and mitigation. You will be responsible for strategy development, implementation, operational controls, and performance monitoring. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop and maintain periodic analytics to provide management with full insight into emerging fraud trends. - Attain a detailed understanding of key performance metrics and profitability drivers to deliver insights throughout the full account lifecycle. - Acquire an understanding of operational processes (e.g., manual underwriting, portfolio management, collections) to comprehend acquisition performance drivers. - Conduct ad hoc analytics and contribute to various projects representing Risk Management. **Qualifications Required:** - MS degree with 3 years of Risk Management experience OR BS degree with a minimum of 5 years of Risk Management or other quantitative experience. - Prior experience in Fraud Risk Strategy. - Background in statistics, econometrics, or other quantitative fields. - Advanced understanding of SAS, SAS Enterprise Miner, or other decision tree software. - Ability to query large datasets and transform raw data into actionable management information. - Familiarity with risk analytics techniques. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent written and oral communication skills. - Experience in delivering recommendations to management.
