Consulting Member of Technical Staff

As a Senior Software Engineer at Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, your role involves collaborating with Product/Design teams during the design phase, developing technical approaches, and delivering high-impact projects. You will work on microservices and frontend development, testing, CI/CD, and participate in scrum activities while collaborating with various teams. The ideal candidate should be passionate, self-motivated, and possess strong communication skills to contribute effectively. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks - Work with Product/Design teams during the design phase - Author technical approaches for building features - Breakdown, refine, and deliver work with your team - Engage in microservices and frontend development - Conduct testing and participate in CI/CD processes - Collaborate with Support, Product Management, and other Service Teams **Qualifications Required:** - BS degree in Computer Science or related fields or equivalent experience - 5+ years of experience in full stack software development - Expertise in languages such as Java, Node.js, C++, Python - Proficiency in microservices frameworks like Spring, Micronaut - Experience with building interfaces like JSON REST APIs, GraphQL - Familiarity with front-end scripting using Javascript, Typescript, ReactJS, KnockoutJS - Knowledge of web markup languages like HTML5, CSS3 - Experience with container-based deployment tools like Docker, Kubernetes - Additional skills in Kafka, Elasticsearch, Redis - Familiarity with test frameworks such as Postman/Newman, Junit, Enzym, Jest, Karma, Mocha, Chai, Puppeteer - Proficiency in distributed source control using GIT - Experience with build tools like Gradle, Maven, Webpack, Npm, Yarn - Knowledge of continuous deployment tools such as Teamcity, Jenkins - Working experience in a Linux-based environment - Understanding of log analysis tools and debugging tools As an IC5 level Senior Software Engineer at Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, you will have hands-on experience with public cloud platforms, Agile Methodologies, and ticket tracking systems. You should be able to translate wireframes into prototypes, adapt to new technologies quickly, and work independently on evolving projects.
