As a Medical Underwriter, your role involves assessing and evaluating medical documents and health disclosures. You will apply underwriting guidelines to ensure accurate risk classification. Collaboration with internal teams for complex cases will be essential. It is important to stay informed about medical trends and risk practices to make informed decisions. Additionally, you will be responsible for conducting medical verifications for insured members and completing cases for Audio/Video Medical Examination Reports. Key Responsibilities: - Assess and evaluate medical documents and health disclosures - Apply underwriting guidelines for accurate risk classification - Collaborate with internal teams for complex cases - Stay informed on medical trends and risk practices - Conduct medical verification for insured members - Complete cases for Audio/Video Medical Examination Reports - Calling/video calling applicants of health insurance for Medical Underwriting - Analyze health profiles and create Medical Examination Reports - Record relevant information in the prescribed format Qualifications Required: - No years of experience in medical underwriting (life/health/general insurance) - Graduates in B-Pharma, BDS, BPT, BHMS, BAMS In addition to the role-specific responsibilities and qualifications, the company offers a competitive salary package based on experience and qualifications. For B-Pharma graduates, the salary range is 25K CTC and 25K in hand. Other graduates can expect a salary range of up to 28,000 CTC for fresher candidates and up to 35,000 CTC for experienced candidates.
