Job Description

JD -Provide L2 support for SQL Server databases (2016/2019 or later) across development, test, and production environments.Respond to incidents, alerts, and service requests related to database performance, space, access, backups, and security.Monitor and maintain health and performance of SQL databasesExecute pre-defined maintenance tasksPerform basic troubleshooting of T-SQL queries, jobs, and stored procedures to identify performance issues or failures.Handle user requests such as login creation, permission changes, and data exports.Assist in backup and restore operations using native SQL backups or third-party tools.Document standard operating procedures (SOPs), incidents, and resolutions.Escalate complex issues to L3 DBAs or vendors as needed.
