Position Overview:

Consultant in Gastroenterology

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and manage a wide spectrum of gastrointestinal, hepatic, and pancreatic disorders.
• Evaluate and manage emergency GI conditions in collaboration with ICU and Emergency Medicine teams.
• Provide pre- and post-procedure patient care and long-term disease management.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including surgery, radiology, and oncology.
• Guide, mentor, and support junior medical staff and trainees.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate medical records in line with hospital policies.
• Participate in clinical quality improvement, patient awareness programs, and continuing medical education.
  

Qualifications & Requirements

• MD/DNB with DM/DNB in Gastroenterology (NMC recognized).
• Valid medical registration.
• Strong procedural skills and clinical expertise in gastroenterology.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and decision-making abilities.
• Compassionate, ethical, and patient-focused approach.
• Prior experience as a Consultant or Senior Resident in Gastroenterology is preferred.
