Job Description

Consultant / Developer - Informatica Cloud (IDMC) & PowerCenter
Role

Consultant/Developer Informatica Cloud on the Data Integration and Application Integration modules of the IDMC platform.

Key Responsibilities

Support the migration project from Informatica PowerCenter platform to Informatica Cloud solution as an expert consultant in both Informatica Cloud and Informatica PowerCenter.
Provide a high level of expertise in both Informatica PowerCenter and Informatica Cloud to effectively challenge both solutions.
Propose and implement, as part of a team, appropriate solutions for BI-oriented database modeling based on business needs.
Participate in setting up various components of the data supply chain for different Datamarts.
Operate transversely across the entire chain and participate in the following activities:
- Monitor, investigate, and resolve ETL incidents during Paris night. This includes fixing data issues, relaunching scheduling, and communicating as per defined templates.
- Fix/enhance remaining evolution required after automatic migration process between Informatica PowerCenter (on-prem) and IDMC (cloud).
Apply experience in BI modeling and tackle complex data integration issues to be an essential asset to the team.
Facilitate and participate in Scrum ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Meeting, Grooming, Retrospective).
Analyze new needs, including estimating complexity.
Design and implement new ETL solutions using Informatica Cloud Data Integration.
Coordinate with the operations team for establishing new data transfer flows with partners.

Technical Documentation (Confluence)

4 to 7 years of experience, specifically with ETL tools such as Informatica IDMC and PowerCenter.
Experience with migration projects from PowerCenter to IDMC is highly desirable.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently in challenging situations.
Versatile and autonomous; actively participate in promoting the expertise of the team in implementing decision-making solutions.
