Job Description

Kamalnayan Bajaj Hospital is looking for Consultant Bariatric Surgeon to join our dynamic team and embark on a rewarding career journey. Provide expert surgical care in GI, Minimal Access, and Bariatric Surgery, including performing advanced laparoscopic and minimally invasive procedures with high proficiency. Conduct preoperative consultations, evaluate patients for surgical suitability, and guide them through the entire surgical process, ensuring informed consent and understanding of treatment plans. Oversee postoperative care, including monitoring recovery, managing complications, and providing follow - up care to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, and dietitians to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans for patients. Maintain meticulous patient records, document surgical outcomes, and participate in quality improvement initiatives. Stay updated on advancements in GI, Minimal Access, and Bariatric Surgery techniques and protocols to ensure the highest standard of care. Educate and mentor junior medical staff, residents, and surgical interns, fostering a learning environment and assisting in skill development. Contribute to hospital safety and protocol adherence, implementing infection control measures and adhering to ethical standards in patient care. Engage in research initiatives, clinical trials, and evidence - based practices to enhance the department's clinical expertise and contribute to the fields knowledge base.
