Construction Intern

As an Intern at Shearoop Constructions in New Delhi, India, you will be responsible for supporting the procurement process by conducting research and compiling vendor and product data related to various residential construction categories. Shearoop Constructions is a residential construction company with over 38 years of experience in civil engineering and turnkey housing projects. Your main duties will include identifying and listing vendors relevant to different stages of residential construction, collecting and documenting details such as vendor name, type of service and product offered, pricing, operating location, key features, and preparing structured Excel sheets for comparison by service category. You will also be required to shortlist vendors based on price, service quality, and suitability in three categories. The categories of vendors to be covered include Civil Work Contractors, Material Suppliers, MEP Vendors, Interior & Finishing, Exterior Work, Fabrication & Special Services, Machinery Rentals, and Waste Management & Safety Vendors. To be eligible for this internship, you should be pursuing or have recently completed a degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management, possess good communication skills for vendor outreach, be proficient in MS Excel, and ideally have familiarity with construction workflows. Having your own two-wheeler or the ability to commute locally by bike or car is also required.
