As a Construction Estimator at JSR Architects in Erode, Tamil Nadu, you will play a crucial role in our growing team. Your responsibilities will include: - Examining architectural drawings, blueprints, and specifications to understand project scope - Conducting detailed material take-offs and quantity surveys for accurate project cost estimation - Preparing BOQs, cost proposals, and budgeting documents for various project typologies - Coordinating with design and site teams to ensure cost alignment and feasibility - Utilizing PlanSwift or similar estimating software for professional cost estimates - Tracking market pricing, vendor costs, and updating material databases To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications: - Diploma / Bachelors in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field - Proficiency in PlanSwift is mandatory - Strong English communication skills - written & verbal - Experience in residential & commercial building estimation - Ability to work with numerical accuracy & timelines - Previous experience working with international clients will be an added advantage - Preference for candidates located in and around Erode At JSR Architects, you will benefit from a design-driven, collaborative environment where you will have the opportunity to contribute to impactful architectural projects.
