Conference & Events Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the execution of MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Exhibitions) events. Your role will involve ensuring smooth event operations, coordinating with vendors, managing budgets, and overseeing on-site execution to ensure successful events. Your responsibilities will include planning and managing MICE events, coordinating with clients, vendors, and venues, supervising the event team, managing event budgets, negotiating contracts, controlling expenses, overseeing on-site logistics, troubleshooting issues on event day, and conducting post-event reviews. To excel in this role, you should have at least 5 years of experience in event operations, with a preference for experience in the MICE industry. Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills are essential, along with proficiency in event management software and MS Office. You should also possess the ability to manage large-scale events and effectively resolve on-site challenges.
