In this role, you will be responsible for Design and execute comprehensive test plans for ETL processes, ensuring data integrity and accuracy throughout the data lifecycle. Perform functional, integration, and regression testing on ETL workflows and data pipelines. 1. Databricks/ ETL Tools 2. SQL queries 3. SOAP, SOA, API testing 4. Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and data testing in cloud 5. Linux or Windows server This list of applications doesn’t stop with the above list, it extends as per the business needs and will include the support of development & debug the platform related issues as well. Responsibilities will include: ● Assist design, develop, test, and deploy data quality processes using relevant data automation tools (i.e. BI/Reporting tools, SQL tools etc.) ● Designing and developing test automation scripts, using test automation guidelines. ● Record test results and report and verify software bug fixes to accept automation criteria. ● Enhance and extend automation frameworks ● Collaborate with business users to identify attributes that require data quality and ● corresponding business rules. Profile data, analyze user requirements, and translate ● & apply business rules to data quality rules. ● Create functional & technical documents - e.g. data quality architecture flows, data profiling results, data quality specifications, test plans ● Contributes to corporate data management best practices and implementation Methodologies ● Working experience in end - end data flow automation. Desired Skills and Qualifications ● Databricks / ETL Tools (M) ● Advanced SQL queries (M) ● Hands on experience in API Testing (Any tool supported & automation is value added) ● Hands-on experience in Python and Py-spark scripting in Data validation. (S) ● Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP - Any one) and testing in cloud (M) ● CI/CD - Github actions or any equivalent (S) ● Functional & Regression testing. ● Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Databricks tool. (C) ● Execute automated and manual tests to ensure the quality of DSC.(M) ● Collaborate with the development and PMO team to understand requirements and design comprehensive test plans and test cases.
