Job Description

The Computer Teacher is responsible for delivering computer education to students, fostering technical skills, and ensuring a strong understanding of computer concepts and digital literacy. The role includes preparing lesson plans, teaching theory and practical applications, and assessing student performance. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver computer science lessons aligned with curriculum standards. Teach students about fundamental computer operations, programming languages, and software applications (MS Office, Internet, HTML, etc.). Conduct practical lab sessions to enhance hands-on learning. Create a positive and engaging classroom environment. Monitor and evaluate student progress and provide feedback. Prepare and administer tests, assignments, and projects. Maintain records of student attendance and academic performance. Ensure the maintenance and proper functioning of computer lab equipment. Stay updated with the latest trends and tools in educational technology. Participate in staff meetings, training programs, and school activities. Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent. B.Ed. (preferred for school teaching positions). Proficiency in common operating systems, programming languages (C, C++, Python, etc.), and educational software. Key Skills: Strong communication and presentation skills. Classroom management. Technical troubleshooting. Patience and passion for teaching. Time management and organizational ability.
