Computer Teacher

Position: Computer Teacher Location: Sanjivani International School, Kharghar Department: Primary to Secondary Section Reporting to: Academic Coordinator / Principal Job Overview: Sanjivani International School is looking for a qualified and enthusiastic Computer Teacher to teach students from Primary to Secondary levels. The teacher will be responsible for delivering computer education that builds digital literacy, coding skills, and responsible use of technology among students. Key Responsibilities: Deliver curriculum-based instruction in Computer Science, including theoretical and practical components. Teach software applications (MS Office, Paint, Scratch), programming basics (HTML, Python, etc.), and internet usage. Conduct practical computer lab sessions to reinforce concepts taught in class. Design interactive lesson plans and activities that make learning engaging and effective. Promote cyber safety, digital ethics, and responsible online behavior. Guide students in creating computer-based projects and presentations. Maintain computer lab resources and ensure proper functioning of hardware and software. Prepare question papers, assignments, and conduct evaluations as per school norms. Participate actively in school events, IT-related competitions, and training programs. Maintain accurate academic records and communicate student progress to parents when required. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology with B.Ed. (Mandatory). 2–5 years of relevant teaching experience in a reputed school. Proficiency in programming tools, educational software, and smart classroom technology. Strong classroom management and communication skills. Ability to simplify technical concepts for young learners.
