This is a full-time, on-site academic role based at Rishihood University, Sonipat.

About the Role

SDE + Instructor Computer Networks

Key Responsibilities:

• Curriculum Design & Delivery: Develop, structure, and deliver high-quality course material and labs in Computer Networks.
  
• Hands-On Labs: Design and manage lab sessions that reinforce theoretical concepts through hands-on experience.
  
• Academic Mentorship: Guide, support, and mentor students in both academic and career-related areas.
  
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with university and Newton School stakeholders to align curriculum and student outcomes with industry needs.
  
• Ownership of Student Success: Take responsibility for ensuring student engagement, understanding, and overall success.
  
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with industry trends to continuously refine teaching content and approach.
  

Must-Have Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in Computer Networks.
  
• Proficient in Linux/Unix commands and shell scripting.
  
• Clean coding practices and ability to demonstrate practical coding knowledge.
  
• In-depth knowledge of Operating Systems and Networking fundamentals:
  
• OSI & TCP/IP models
  
• Protocols: TCP, UDP, IP
  
• Firewalls, VPNs, encryption (SSL/TLS)
  
• Process scheduling, multitasking, memory management
  
• Exceptional communication and teaching skills with the ability to break down complex technical topics.
  
• Willingness to relocate and work full-time from Sonipat campus.
  

Good to Have

• Prior experience teaching undergraduate or graduate-level students.
  
• Familiarity with academic teaching methodologies and edtech tools.
  
• Background in software development or system design.
