Computer Network and Systems Engineer

As a Computer Network and Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks related to network, security, systems, storage, and wireless solutions. Your role will involve designing, implementing, supporting, and resolving complex problems in these areas. Additionally, you will provide consultancy services and contribute to policy development related to network technologies. You will work closely with the sales team, mentor junior engineers, and provide technical support. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze, develop, interpret, and evaluate complex system design and architecture specifications - Research, analyze, evaluate, and monitor network infrastructure for optimal performance - Recommend improvements to network operations and integrated hardware/software systems - Support and troubleshoot network problems and emergencies - Install, configure, test, and maintain networks, software, databases, servers, and workstations - Provide network programming for specific business needs - Maintain documentation for network inventory and issue resolution - Monitor network traffic, capacity, and usage for optimal performance - Communicate regularly with customers as needed - Create dashboard and workload automations in Splunk and Control-M - Test jobs and integrations with other enterprise products Qualifications Required: - Strong understanding of network infrastructure and hardware - Ability to visualize and implement solutions for network issues - Proficiency in administering network devices such as access points, firewalls, routers, switches, and controllers - Knowledge of network protocols and application transport - Skill in creating accurate network diagrams and documentation - Quick learner of new technologies using available resources - Collaboration with staff at all levels and across departments - Self-motivated with strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Flexibility and dependability in a team environment - Deep knowledge of Network Splunk Enterprise and Workload Automation Solution - Experience with Network Management Technologies, Networks, Security, Nagios XI, and Control-M - Familiarity with Dynatrace APM tool, ITSM products, ELK, and Software Defined Network Procedure - Previous experience in developing custom solutions using various network technologies Additional Company Details: - No additional details present in the provided job description.,
