Computer Network and Systems Engineer

As a Computer Network and Systems Engineer, your role involves designing, implementing, supporting, and resolving complex problems related to network, security, systems, storage, and wireless solutions. Additionally, you will provide consultancy and policy recommendations on network technologies. Your responsibilities will include: - Analyzing, developing, interpreting, and evaluating complex system design and architecture specifications - Researching, analyzing, evaluating, and monitoring network infrastructure for optimal performance - Assessing and recommending improvements to network operations and integrated hardware, software, communications, and operating systems - Providing specialist skills in supporting and troubleshooting network problems and emergencies - Installing, configuring, testing, maintaining, and administering new and upgraded networks, software, database applications, servers, and workstations - Providing network programming to support specific business needs and requirements - Preparing and maintaining procedures and documentation for network inventory - Monitoring network traffic, activity, capacity, and usage for optimal network performance - Taking ownership of assigned tasks and ensuring regular communication with customers" personnel You should possess the following essential skills to excel in this role: - Strong understanding of network infrastructure and hardware - Ability to think through problems and visualize solutions - Proficiency in implementing, administering, and troubleshooting network infrastructure devices - Knowledge of application transport and network infrastructure protocols - Ability to create accurate network diagrams and documentation - Quick learning ability for new technologies and products - Collaboration skills with all levels of staff - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Dependability and flexibility - Proficiency in Network Splunk Enterprise and Workload Automation Solution Special skills required for this role include: - Expertise in Network Management Technologies and Networks and Security - Proficiency in Nagios XI, Control-M, Dynatrace APM tool, and ITSM products - Understanding of ELK (Elastic, Logstash, and Kibana) and Software Defined Network Procedure - Experience in creating custom solutions using network technologies Additionally, the following trade/professional qualifications are desired: - Dynatrace certified Associate - Accredited Associate BMC Control-M Administrator - Accredited Specialist Service Now ITSM Specialization - ITILV3 Found Ext Certification With your expertise and skills, you will play a crucial role in designing and maintaining efficient network systems for the organization.,
