Job Description

As a Non-clinical Statistician - Computation at Lilly, your role is to assist in the development of experimental design, validation, and optimization, and provide analysis support for research scientists in Development and Manufacturing. **Primary Responsibilities:** - Collaborate during the implementation of analysis applications per customer needs. - Assist in the development and implementation of novel statistical methods for studies. - Collaborate to incorporate data mining, machine learning, or other methodologies such as Shiny application programming, testing of JMP tools, data simulations, and visualizations. - Assist in data cleaning, formatting, and combining datasets from disparate sources in preparation for analysis. - Assess data from studies conducted across the platform. - Assist with data integrity documentation and reviews. - Consult in the development of new tools to aid statistical analyses and novel methods. **Training and Development:** - Assist in the development of and provide training courses for various statistical methods. **Communication of Results:** - Collaborate with Project Statisticians and team members to communicate results. - Assist in communicating study results via manuscripts or oral presentations. - Communicate results for one-on-one meetings with key customers or external partners. **Therapeutic/Scientific Area Knowledge:** - Understand disease states or scientific areas to enhance customer focus and collaboration. **Regulatory Compliance:** - Perform work in full compliance with assigned curriculum(s) and corporate, local, and departmental policies. **Minimum Qualification Requirements:** - M.S., Ph.D., or equivalent experience. - Background in Statistics, Biostatistics, or equivalent field of study. **Other Information/Additional Preferences:** - Proficiency in analytical programming languages like R, RShiny, JSL. - Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills. - Demonstrated technical growth and application in experimental design and statistics. - Self-management, creativity, and innovation skills. - Resource management and problem-solving ability. - Strong teamwork and leadership skills.
