Compliance - Vice President - System Engineering

As a member of our team, you will partner globally with sponsors, users, and engineering colleagues across multiple divisions. Your primary focus will be to ensure data completeness, accuracy, and timeliness across our systems. You will also be instrumental in designing and developing tooling for data monitoring and controls . This role offers the opportunity to tackle a broad range of complex problems , frequently involving large datasets, real-time processing, messaging, workflow management, and UI/UX. You will serve as a technical lead and coach , fostering growth within the team, and will have the chance to learn from experts across the firm. You will leverage various technologies , depending on the team's specific needs, including Java, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, APIs, Kafka, and Kubernetes. We highly value your ability to innovate and incubate new ideas . This position involves participation in the full software development life cycle : defining requirements, designing solutions, implementing code, rigorous testing, seamless deployment, and ongoing maintenance of our products. Qualifications A successful candidate will possess the following attributes: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a similar field of study. 5+ years of professional software development experience . Experience with trading systems, financial data structures, and data flows . Expertise in Java development . The ability (and tenacity) to clearly express ideas and arguments in meetings and in written form.
