Compliance Officer

Must have experience of working with a UK Nursing Agency as a compliance officer.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Candidate Compliance Management:

• Ensure all candidates meet the required compliance standards as per the NHS framework and other relevant guidelines.
• Maintain up-to-date records of candidate documentation, including DBS checks, right to work, professional qualifications, and mandatory training.
• Conduct regular reviews and audits of candidate files to ensure ongoing compliance.

1. Candidate Sign-Off:

• Oversee the candidate sign-off process, ensuring all necessary documentation and checks are completed before placement.
• Liaise with candidates to obtain missing documentation or resolve compliance issues.
• Ensure timely and accurate sign-off to meet client requirements and deadlines.

1. Policy and Procedure Development:

• Develop, update, and implement compliance policies and procedures to ensure adherence to current regulations and best practices.
• Educate and train staff on compliance policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor changes in legislation and framework standards to ensure the company's compliance processes remain up-to-date.

2. Client and Candidate Liaison:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and candidates on compliance-related matters.
• Address and resolve compliance queries and issues promptly and effectively.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure a high level of service and compliance.

3. Reporting and Documentation:

• Maintain comprehensive and accurate compliance records and documentation.
• Prepare regular compliance reports for senior management and regulatory bodies as required.
