Evaluate customer needs based on applications requirements, current capacity, and growth trends Backup tools (Commvault Simpana 11 SP14,HPDP 10.1,Netbackup 8.0,Backup Exec versions 10/14.2/15/20/20.5 Restore, recover the data from the backup system as required SAP for Oracle,MSSQL,Exchange database, AS filesytem, Oracle Database Manage and maintain the backup systems Ensure backups run to schedule retention in met Verify all full backup jobs Maintain an audit Trail of backups restores. Provide reports on job success/failure Perform file restores as required Regularly validate backup jobs Backup performance and configuration ,version upgrade tasks(Commvault install iData agents)Backup Exec,Netbackup,HPDP Tape management Perform TapeLibray firmware upgrade activities Analyse complex hardware and software issues associated with backup-related technologies, including Backup Exec NetBackup, Commvault, HPDP and Enterprise Vault Performing backup Exec upgrade activities through Change management process Participate in capacity planning Tape/Disk and performance discussions Provide technical services for customers in a backup environments Provide resolution IM/RF as per SLA perform / follow backup related activity as per SOP .LUN Management, Host management on HDS VSP, VSP G200, HUS 130,EMC VNX, VNXe 3200 NetApp FAS 3140 .Implemented Virtualization of External storage to HDS VSP storage .Storage configuration of HNAS .File system CIFS share creation in HNAS .Managing of volumes CIFS shares in NetApp .Monitoring and troubleshooting on EMC VNX5300,VNXe 3200, Netapp, HDS VSP storage, HNAS3080, HUS 130 and Brocade switches300 6520
