સમાજમાં માનસિક સ્વાસ્થ્યનું સ્તર ઊંચું લાવવા માટેના પ્રયાસો. સ્ક્રીન નું વળગણ અને તેના પરિણામે થતું ભયંકર વ્યક્તિગત અને સામાજિક પતન નિવારવા માટે સ્કુલ, કોલેજ, હોસ્પિટલો, બગીચાઓ, વૃદ્ધાશ્રમો, વગેરે સ્થળોએ જઈને વ્યક્તિગત તેમજ સામુહિક કાઉન્સેલિંગ તેમજ પ્રવચનો દ્વારા સુસંસ્કાર ઘડતર ની પ્રક્રિયા ને વેગ આપવાની પ્રવૃત્તિ. તજજ્ઞ કાઉન્સેલરો, સાઇકીયાટ્રિસ્ટો, સાઈકોલોજીસ્ટો, ને પસંદ કરીને તેમને જરૂરીયાતમંદ લોકો સાથે જોડતી હેલ્પલાઇન વર્ષ ૨૦૨૨ થી કાર્યરત. ઉદ્યોગોમાં બ્લુ કોલર તેમજ વ્હાઈટ કોલર કર્મચારીઓ ને માનસિક સ્વાથ્ય ની જાળવણી માટે તજજ્ઞો દ્વારા માર્ગદર્શન, શૈક્ષણિક સંસ્થાઓ અને અન્ય સ્થળો એ જઈને પુસ્તકો ડિસ્પ્લે માં રાખી અને વિતરણ ની વ્યવસ્થા.

Position:

Community Mental Health Counselor / Psychologist

Project Summary:

This role supports a visionary initiative aimed at enhancing mental well-being and social harmony by conducting individual and group counseling, awareness lectures, and psychosocial interventions in diverse community settings such as schools, colleges, hospitals, old-age homes, public gardens, workplaces, and more.

The focus is to counter rising mental health issues including screen addiction, emotional distress, and social disconnect, while also promoting character-building, empathy, and balanced lifestyles.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct individual and group counseling sessions in community spaces.

Lead interactive awareness sessions, motivational talks, and mental health workshops.

Identify and assess mental health challenges like screen dependency, anxiety, depression, and social withdrawal.

Collaborate with psychiatrists and social workers for cases needing medical attention or psychiatric evaluation.

Maintain proper records and follow-up processes for all sessions and referrals.

Train volunteers and community workers in basic mental health first aid and emotional support.

Facilitate book displays and mental wellness resources at educational institutions and community locations.

Requirements:

Graduation, Master’s Degree or higher in Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Counseling, or related field.

Fluency in Gujarati and/or Hindi, along with English for documentation and reporting.

Deep sensitivity to social issues and diverse populations (students, elderly, industrial workers).

Strong public speaking, group facilitation, and empathy-driven communication skills.

Preferred (not mandatory):

Experience with helpline support, crisis intervention, or mental health campaigns will be an advantage.

Background in working with NGOs, CSR projects, or government schemes will be an advantage.

Locations: On-site visits across community venues (schools, hospitals, gardens, old-age homes, workplaces, etc.)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Volunteer

Pay: From ₹15,000.00 per month
