Job Description

Role Overview: As a Commission Analyst at Vendasta, your mission is to ensure the accuracy, transparency, and timeliness of commission calculations and reporting for the diverse sales team. Your role will involve a high level of analytical expertise, understanding of commission structures, and a data-driven approach to evaluating sales performance. You will play a critical role in supporting and optimizing commission processes, sales incentives, and providing insights that drive business decisions. Key Responsibilities: - Accurately calculate and administer monthly and quarterly commissions for multiple commission plans across different sales teams using data from Vendasta's in-house sales and CRM systems. - Ensure all commissions are processed and paid in a timely manner, with transparency and consistency. - Analyze commission data to assess the performance of sales teams, identify trends, and evaluate the effectiveness of current commission plans. - Collaborate with finance and sales operations teams to refine and optimize existing commission structures, ensuring alignment with business objectives and motivating high-performing sales behavior. - Model and propose new commission plans or adjustments to existing plans, ensuring scalability and effective support for organizational growth. - Work closely with cross-functional teams including finance, sales, and IT to ensure data integrity and streamline commission processes. - Collaborate on special projects such as mergers and acquisitions (M&A), integrating new teams, and adapting commission structures as needed. Qualifications Required: - In-depth knowledge of commission structures and sales incentives. - Proficiency in advanced data analysis and reporting. - Experience in process optimization and modeling. - Strong cross-functional collaboration and excellent communication skills. - 3-5+ years of experience in Finance, Economics, or a related field, preferably within a SaaS or technology environment. - Bachelor's degree preferred in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
