Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Commis Chef to join our team and oversee the preparation of high-quality baked goods. The ideal candidate will have expertise in baking techniques, a passion for creativity, and the ability to manage daily bakery operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, bake, and present a variety of breads, pastries, cakes, and desserts.
• Develop and test new recipes to expand the bakery menu.
• Monitor ingredient inventory and place orders as needed.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
• Supervise and train junior bakers and kitchen staff.
• Maintain consistency in taste, quality, and presentation of baked items.
• Manage baking schedules and ensure timely delivery of orders.
• Decorate and finish baked goods using various techniques and tools.
• Collaborate with management on menu planning and pricing strategies.
• Stay updated with industry trends and customer preferences.

Job Specifications:

• Proven experience as a Bakery Chef & Pastry Chef.
• Strong knowledge of baking techniques and ingredients.
• Creativity and attention to detail in presentation.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
