Commis III (Indian Cuisine)

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Commis III (Indian Cuisine) to join our culinary team. As a junior chef in the Indian kitchen, you will play a vital role in assisting in the preparation and presentation of authentic Indian dishes while upholding high standards of hygiene, consistency, and quality. Your key responsibilities will include assisting in preparing a variety of Indian dishes under the guidance of senior chefs, accurately measuring and preparing ingredients as per recipes, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen area, following food safety guidelines and kitchen protocols, as well as monitoring stock levels and promptly reporting shortages. Ideally, you should possess at least 12 years of experience in a professional Indian kitchen, have a basic knowledge of Indian spices, gravies, and traditional cooking techniques, understand hygiene and food safety practices, be willing to learn, adapt, and collaborate within a team setting, and exhibit a positive attitude, punctuality, and dedication to maintaining quality.
