Role Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Commis 3 to join our central kitchen team. The candidate must have at least 1 year of experience in baking bread and cookies and be eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced culinary environment. This role is an excellent opportunity for an aspiring baker to refine their skills and contribute to high-quality production.

Key Responsibilities

• Baking Assistance:

Assist in the preparation and baking of bread and cookies following established recipes and techniques.
Support senior chefs with scaling, shaping, and finishing baked goods.

• Kitchen Operations:

Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the workstation and equipment.
Follow kitchen schedules to meet production and delivery timelines.

• Quality Assurance:

Ensure all products meet the bakery's quality standards in taste, texture, and presentation.
Perform basic quality checks during the baking process.

• Learning & Development:

Show willingness to learn new baking techniques and processes.
Seek feedback from senior chefs to continuously improve skills.

• Hygiene & Safety:

Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations.
Participate in maintaining the overall cleanliness of the kitchen.

Requirements

Educational Background:

• Basic training or certification in Baking or Culinary Arts.

Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in baking bread and cookies.

Key Skills:

• Basic understanding of bread and cookie baking processes.
• Familiarity with kitchen equipment and baking tools.
• Ability to follow recipes accurately and consistently.

Qualities:

• Passion for baking and attention to detail.
• A positive attitude and eagerness to learn from senior chefs.
• Team-oriented and able to follow instructions.
