As a Food Preparation Associate at Courtyard by Marriott Raipur, your role involves preparing ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food. You will be responsible for washing and peeling fresh fruits and vegetables, as well as weighing, measuring, and mixing ingredients. Your duties also include preparing and cooking food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklist. Additionally, you will be preparing cold foods, operating ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers, and testing foods to ensure they have been cooked sufficiently. Monitoring food quality while preparing food and setting up and breaking down workstations are also part of your responsibilities. Serving food in proper portions onto proper receptacles and washing and disinfecting the kitchen area, tables, tools, knives, and equipment are crucial tasks. You will also need to check and ensure the correctness of the temperature of appliances and food.
