Job Summary:

The Staff Cook (Commis) is responsible for preparing meals specifically for staff or crew members as per the set menu and standards. The role requires basic culinary skills, attention to hygiene and quality, and the ability to support the kitchen team in daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook daily staff meals as per the menu set by the Head Chef or Sous Chef.
  • Follow hygiene and sanitation guidelines in accordance with FSSAI and company policy.
  • Ensure food is stored properly and rotated according to FIFO (First In, First Out).
  • Maintain cleanliness of the staff kitchen and related equipment.
  • Assist in receiving and storing kitchen supplies and ingredients.
  • Coordinate with the purchase/store team for kitchen inventory related to staff meals.
  • Follow portion and waste control guidelines to minimize food cost.
  • Assist the main kitchen during busy periods or special functions, if required.
  • Report any maintenance issues, food shortages, or operational concerns to the Chef.
  • Ensure staff meal timings and service are strictly followed.
  • Uphold a positive and professional approach with coworkers.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
