Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Commis Chef - Cold Kitchen located in Trivandrum. The Commis Chef will be responsible for the preparation and cooking of cold dishes, ensuring food hygiene, and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen. Daily tasks include assisting in the creation of new cold dishes, adhering to recipes, and ensuring high-quality food standards are consistently met. The role also involves effective communication with team members and supervisors.

Qualifications

• Food Preparation and Cooking skills, specifically for cold dishes
• Strong Culinary Skills
• Knowledge of food hygiene and safety practices
• Effective Communication skills
• Ability to work in a team and follow instructions from superiors
• Relevant culinary certification or a degree in culinary arts is a plus
• Prior experience in a similar role in a commercial kitchen is beneficial
