As a Cook at Marriott International, you will be responsible for preparing ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food. You will wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables, weigh, measure, and mix ingredients, and prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklist. In addition, you will also be preparing cold foods and operating ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers. It will be your duty to test foods to determine if they have been cooked sufficiently, monitor food quality while preparing food, and set-up and break down your work station.
