The Consultant Commercial Strategy position in Bangalore (Hybrid) within the Commercial Strategy & Market Research function involves leading and supporting high-impact projects for pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients. As a Consultant, you will be responsible for combining quantitative primary market research (PMR) and data-driven commercial strategy to provide actionable recommendations through structured problem-solving and market understanding. This role requires working at the intersection of client insights, analytics, and brand strategy. Your key responsibilities will include designing and executing end-to-end PMR studies, developing survey instruments, analyzing data outputs, and performing various techniques like cluster analysis, MaxDiff, and TURF. You will collaborate with solution and data science teams to integrate research insights with advanced analytics and forecasting models. Additionally, you will contribute to strategic initiatives such as launch planning, market landscape assessments, and growth strategies for life sciences brands. In terms of client engagement, you will lead internal and client-facing workstreams, present insights in a consultative manner to brand teams and stakeholders, and collaborate with global teams to ensure high-quality project outcomes. The ideal candidate for this role should have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Pharma, Business, Economics, Psychology, Life Sciences, or Quantitative Research, along with 3-6 years of experience in PMR and strategic consulting within the life sciences industry. Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is essential, while knowledge of tools like Q, SPSS, R, or Python would be advantageous. Preferred qualifications include prior consulting experience with top 25 pharma clients or biotech companies, experience in rare disease, immunology, or oncology segments, and familiarity with integrating PMR outputs into field force strategy, forecast models, or commercial data tools.
