Commercial Office Space Plan Designer

As a Commercial Office Space Plan Designer at our company in HSR, you will play a crucial role in creating efficient, functional, and aesthetically pleasing office layouts that cater to our clients" needs, brand identity, and workplace best practices. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders to deliver innovative design solutions that enhance productivity and employee experience. You will work closely with clients to understand their space requirements, company culture, and design goals. Developing and presenting office layout concepts, space plans, and detailed floor plans will be a key aspect of your role. Utilizing CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and design tools like SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite, you will produce high-quality plans and presentations. Additionally, you will ensure that ergonomic, functional, and code-compliant solutions are incorporated into the designs. Collaboration with architects, interior designers, engineers, and contractors throughout the design and construction process will be essential. Conducting site surveys and space audits as needed, staying updated on industry trends, materials, and furniture systems, and ensuring compliance with local building codes, ADA standards, and other regulations are also part of your responsibilities. You will prepare documentation and presentations for client approvals. To qualify for this position, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in interior design, architecture, or a related field and have at least 3 years of experience in office or commercial space planning/design. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite is required. Strong knowledge of building codes, accessibility standards, and workplace design trends is essential. Excellent visualization, communication, and client presentation skills, ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines, and attention to detail and problem-solving abilities are also necessary. Preferred qualifications include experience with modular office systems and workplace strategy, knowledge of 3DsMax rendering tools like Corona and V-Ray, and a strong portfolio showcasing commercial design projects.,
