We're looking for a sharp, witty, and versatile Comedy Writer director who can craft engaging and humorous scripts for social media-first video content. From fintech spoofs to fashion parodies and lifestyle sketches, your words will bring concepts to life across Instagram, YouTube, and emerging digital platforms. Roles and Responsibilities: Ideate and write comedic short-form video scripts tailored for social media Collaborate with creative directors, strategists, and editors to develop scroll-stopping content Write for a variety of genres and formats: reels, sketch comedy, ad parodies, listicles, and more Shape brand voices while infusing humor that resonates with target audiences Stay updated with trends, meme culture, and platform-specific language Participate in brainstorms, pitch concepts, and bring original ideas to the table Preferred Qualifications: Have 3+ years of experience writing comedy or creative content for digital platforms Understand the nuances of writing for Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and social-first video Can write across genres – fashion, fintech, lifestyle, etc., while keeping the tone humorous Are fluent in pop culture, trends, and meme references Have worked in a digital agency, content studio, or brand’s creative team Know how to write to brief, adapt tone as per brand, and hit deadlines with punchlines Bonus Points: Background in stand-up, improv, or sketch writing Experience with scripting for creators or influencers Understanding of digital marketing and performance content Location: Andheri East, Mumbai Employment Type: Full-time | Work from Office Show more Show less
