We are seeking a sharp, witty, and versatile Comedy Writer Director who can craft engaging and humorous scripts for social media-first video content. Your role will involve creating content ranging from fintech spoofs to fashion parodies and lifestyle sketches, bringing concepts to life across platforms like Instagram, YouTube, and emerging digital channels. Roles and Responsibilities: - Ideate and write comedic short-form video scripts customized for social media platforms - Collaborate with creative directors, strategists, and editors to develop attention-grabbing content - Write for various genres and formats including reels, sketch comedy, ad parodies, listicles, and more - Shape brand voices by incorporating humor that connects with target audiences - Keep abreast of trends, meme culture, and platform-specific language - Participate in brainstorming sessions, pitch creative concepts, and contribute original ideas Preferred Qualifications: - Possess 3+ years of experience in writing comedy or creative content for digital platforms - Understand the intricacies of writing for Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and social-first video formats - Ability to write across different genres such as fashion, fintech, lifestyle, etc., while maintaining a humorous tone - Proficient in pop culture, trends, and meme references - Previous experience in a digital agency, content studio, or brand's creative team - Skilled in writing to briefs, adapting tone as per brand requirements, and meeting deadlines with impactful punchlines Bonus Points: - Background in stand-up, improv, or sketch writing - Experience in scripting for creators or influencers - Understanding of digital marketing and performance content Location: Andheri East, Mumbai Employment Type: Full-time | Work from Office,
