Collection Officer - Housing

As a Collections Executive, your role involves driving the collection process of receivables from multiple sources to reduce total outstanding amounts and associated average number of days. Your main responsibilities include: - Keeping track of the portfolio for specific buckets in your assigned area, controlling delinquency bucket-wise and days past due, and focusing on non-starters. - Updating customer files with contact times and dates, as well as information provided to customers about their debt. - Collaborating with the agency's tracing team to trace defaulters and assets, and recommending appropriate actions. - Identifying defaulting accounts, investigating reasons for default, and maintaining a positive relationship with customers. - Engaging sales and senior management when necessary to expedite the collection process, including supporting the collection manager in asset repossession and legal proceedings. - Ensuring compliance with Audit, NHB, IRB regulations, and company policies and procedures. In addition to the responsibilities, the qualifications required for this role include being a Graduate or Masters/Postgraduate.
