Job Description

Cash & Cheque Collection: Receive daily cash and cheque payments for chit installments at the branch. Issue accurate receipts for all transactions. Reconcile daily collections with system records. Prepare daily collection reports. Ensure secure handling of cash for bank deposits. Customer Service (Existing Accounts): Respond to inquiries from existing customers regarding chit accounts, payments, and statements. Provide polite and efficient assistance to walk-in customers. Assist with basic account updates and resolve routine customer issues. Escalate complex customer concerns to the Branch Manager. Documentation & Record Keeping: Maintain organized physical and digital records of all collections. Ensure all existing customer documentation is accurate and filed. Assist in preparing and verifying collection and disbursement reports. Ensure compliance with internal documentation standards. Office Administration & Support: Perform data entry, filing, scanning, and managing office supplies. Assist the Branch Manager with day-to-day operational tasks. Maintain a clean and organized office environment. Coordinate with other departments (e.g., Accounts) for smooth operations.
