Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Adobe ColdFusion and related technologies.
Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.Optimize application performance, ensuring scalability and responsiveness.Integrate front-end components, databases, and external APIs.Perform code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and provide technical guidance to junior developers.Ensure adherence to coding standards, security practices, and software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes.Collaborate with stakeholders including QA, DevOps, and Project Management teams to ensure timely delivery.Participate in system design discussions, providing input on architecture, scalability, and performance improvements.Maintain and upgrade legacy ColdFusion applications to align with current technologies and frameworks.

Required Skills & Qualifications

8+ years of professional experience in web application development using ColdFusion (Adobe ColdFusion 2016/2018/2021).
Strong knowledge of ColdFusion Components (CFCs), CFScript, and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.Proficiency in SQL and experience with databases such as Oracle, MySQL, or MS SQL Server.Familiarity with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, AJAX, JSON, and RESTful APIs.Experience with source control systems (e.g., Git, Bitbucket).Strong debugging and pro
