Co-Founder Non-Veg Vertical

As a Co-Founder at Harvest Direct, a full-stack B2B food supply chain startup in Mumbai, you will play a crucial role in leading and scaling the Non-Veg Vertical, a complex and high-potential category. Your responsibilities will include: - Own and lead the non-veg vertical end-to-end, covering chicken, seafood, mutton, eggs, cold cuts, and more. - Develop and manage cold-chain logistics, quality control, and vendor relationships to ensure a reliable daily supply system for restaurants and cloud kitchens across MMR. - Collaborate closely with operations, technology, and sales teams to build and scale the vertical effectively. - Take full ownership of unit economics, quality standards, and consistency in operations. - Establish Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), recruit a high-performing team, and drive growth from 0 to 1 to 10. To excel in this role, we are looking for individuals with the following qualifications: - Background in meat, seafood, poultry, or cold supply chain operations. - Previous experience in working with or within established non-veg B2B supply chains. - Profound knowledge of vendor management, hygiene protocols, and B2B supply operations. - Possess a founder mindset with the ability to take initiative, solve complex challenges, and lead a high-impact vertical effectively. - Must be based in Mumbai.
