Job Description

MEPL SIDDHOHUM Pvt Ltd is seeking skilled and motivated VMC and CNC Machine Operators to join our production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating, setting up, and maintaining CNC/VMC machines to produce precision components as per engineering drawings and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate VMC and CNC machines efficiently and safely
• Set up machines, tools, fixtures, and workpieces according to job requirements
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions
• Perform basic programming edits (offsets, tool changes, corrections) if required
• Monitor machine operations and ensure dimensional accuracy of components
• Conduct in-process inspection using measuring instruments (vernier, micrometer, gauges, etc.)
• Maintain production records and ensure adherence to quality standards
• Perform routine machine maintenance and report any issues promptly
• Follow safety rules, SOPs, and housekeeping standards

Required Qualifications

• ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Tool & Die, Machining, or relevant field
• Proven experience as a VMC or CNC machine operator
• Strong knowledge of machining processes, cutting tools, and materials
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to work in shifts if required

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Fanuc / Siemens / Mitsubishi controllers
• Understanding of GD&T and quality control processes
• Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
