Designation CNC Setter cum Operator Department CNC Qualification ITI fitter / Diploma Mechanical, Years of experience 01-4 years or more Company Ankit Aerospace Pvt Ltd No of Positions 40 SALARY CTC As per Market Standard Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled CNC Operator cum Setter to set up and operate CNC machines to produce precision parts. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background, experience in CNC machine operation and setting, and a keen eye for detail to ensure high-quality production. Key Responsibilities: Set up and operate CNC Lathe / VMC / Milling / Turning / Grinding machines as per production requirements. Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions. Select and install appropriate tools, fixtures, and machine parameters for machining operations. Perform offset adjustments, tool setting, and program modifications as needed. Conduct first-off inspections and ensure parts meet required specifications. Troubleshoot machine issues and resolve minor mechanical and programming problems. Maintain quality control by performing measurements with calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other instruments. Ensure machine maintenance and cleanliness as per scheduled preventive maintenance. Work in collaboration with production, quality, and maintenance teams for smooth operations. Maintain documentation for machine logs, tool usage, and production reports . Follow safety guidelines and ensure compliance with company and industry standards. Skills & Qualifications: ITI-Fitter & Machinist /Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. 1-4 years of experience in CNC machine operation and setting. Proficiency in G-code, M-code programming, and CNC controls (Fanuc, Siemens, Haas, Mazak, etc.) . Strong understanding of GD&T, machining tolerances, and material properties . Experience in tool selection, setting, and cutting parameters optimization . Ability to work with minimal supervision and troubleshoot machine issues.
