CNC Programmer/Setter/Operator

We are looking for a hands-on technician/engineer to operate our KUKA 7-axis robotic machining cell and prepare toolpaths using SprutCAM.
The role combines robotics, machining, and production execution — ideal for someone who enjoys precision work, problem-solving, and working on creative fabrication projects.

Key Responsibilities1. KUKA Robot Operation

• Operate and manage day-to-day running of the KUKA 7-axis robotic arm for machining and sculpting.
• Load programs, set parameters, run cycles, and monitor safety protocols.
• Perform basic robot calibration and zeroing.

2. SprutCAM Programming

• Import 3D models and prepare toolpaths for multi-axis machining.
• Select tools, speeds, feeds, and machining strategies suited for foam, wood, FRP, and other fabrication materials.
• Simulate, troubleshoot, and optimise toolpaths for smooth robotic execution.
• Export KUKA-compatible machining files.

3. Machining Setup & Production

• Handle material setup, tool changes, and fixture alignment.
• Work closely with the design and fabrication team to execute large-scale sculptures, props, molds, and art pieces.
• Maintain accuracy, finish quality, and consistency.

4. Machine & Robot Maintenance

• Daily/weekly maintenance of the KUKA robot, spindle, and machining tools.
• Report and troubleshoot mechanical/electrical issues.
• Ensure the workspace follows operational and electrical safety standards.

Required Qualifications

Minimum Education (any one):

• Diploma in Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical
• ITI Machinist / ITI Fitter / ITI Electrician / ITI Electronics
• (Experience is more important than degree — CAM knowledge + CNC/robot handling is key.)

Technical Skills

• 2–3 years experience in at least one of the following:
• VMC/CNC programming
• VMC/CNC machine operation
• Robot cell operation
• Robotics/CAM software
• Strong understanding of:
• CNC machining basics (tools, feeds, speeds, tolerances)
• Multi-axis toolpath strategies
• CAD/CAM workflow
• Electrical safety and basic troubleshooting
• Knowledge of SprutCAM (mandatory or willing to learn quickly)
• Experience with KUKA robots is a plus, but training can be provided

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
