CNC Programmer & Setter

Position Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced CNC Sliding Head Programmer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years' hands-on CNC programming experience and a strong understanding of modern machining practices. Key Responsibilities

• Program and set up CNC sliding head machines.
• Optimize programs for cycle time, tool life, and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
• Interpret and work from complex engineering drawings.
• Select the correct tools, fixtures, and cutting parameters for each job.
• Independently troubleshoot and resolve machining/programming issues.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to meet delivery and quality goals.
• Maintain regular machine maintenance and uphold safety best practices.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of CNC programming experience (sliding head preferred).
• Strong experience in G-code programming and CNC tool path optimization.
• In-depth knowledge of tool selection, machine setup, and part inspection.
• Proven ability to work independently and produce precision components to tight tolerances.
• Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and efficiency.
• Experience in a high-paced production environment is a strong advantage.
