CNC Progammer Cum Setter

Prepare CNC turning programs using G-code / M-code (on machine or offline) Set up CNC turning machines including: Tool setting and offset setting Job setting and alignment Read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T Select appropriate cutting tools, inserts, and machining parameters Prove out new jobs and optimize cycle time and tool life Monitor machining operations and make corrections as required Inspect finished components using measuring instruments (vernier, micrometer, bore gauge, etc.) Maintain dimensional accuracy and surface finish as per specifications Coordinate with production and quality teams Ensure machine cleanliness, basic maintenance, and safety compliance Machine & Control Experience (Preferred) CNC Turning / CNC Lathe machines Controllers such as Fanuc interface Experience in machining materials like MS, SS, Alloy Steel, Aluminum, Brass, etc. Strong understanding of CNC turning operations Good knowledge of cutting tools and inserts Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Attention to detail and quality focus Willingness to work in shifts (if applicable)
