Job Title: CNC Programmer / Machinist Job Description: We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented CNC Programmer / Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in CAD/CAM software, precision machining, and a deep understanding of CNC operations. As a CNC Programmer, you will be responsible for developing, editing, and optimizing CNC programs to ensure the highest levels of precision and efficiency in the manufacturing process. Key Responsibilities: CNC Programming: Develop, edit, and optimize CNC programs using CAD/CAM software to machine a wide range of parts and materials. Precision & Accuracy: Perform tasks with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring parts are produced within tight tolerances and meet all design specifications. Tool Path Planning: Interpret engineering drawings and create efficient tool paths that streamline machining sequences, reduce cycle time, and maintain part quality. Machine Setup & Operation: Set up CNC machines, load tools, verify machine functions, and operate equipment to manufacture parts according to program specifications. Troubleshooting & Adjustments: Identify and resolve issues that arise during the machining process, making necessary adjustments to programs or machine settings to ensure quality and accuracy. Quality Control: Inspect finished parts using precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, CMM, etc.) to ensure conformance with specifications, making adjustments as necessary. Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, designers, and team members to ensure that project requirements are met and challenges are resolved quickly and effectively. Qualifications: Proficiency in CAD/CAM software for CNC programming (experience with Mastercam, Fusion 360, SolidWorks, or similar software is a plus). Extensive experience in CNC machine setup, operation, and programming (3-axis, 4-axis, or multi-axis machines). Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, and materials. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and blueprints. Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to work with tight tolerances. Strong problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset. Experience with quality control techniques and precision inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, CMM, etc.). Ability to work independently or as part of a collaborative, fast-paced team environment. Preferred Skills: Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment. Knowledge of a variety of CNC machines (lathe, mill, etc.) and their specific programming requirements. Familiarity with continuous improvement practices, lean manufacturing, or Six Sigma methodologies. Education/Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree or technical certification in CNC machining, manufacturing, or a related field preferred. Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in CNC machining and programming. Salary: ₹30,000 - ₹40,000 per month (based on experience and qualifications).
