CNC Lathe Operator

Job Summary:

The CNC Lathe Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining CNC lathe machines to produce high-quality precision components as per engineering drawings and specifications. The role requires technical expertise in CNC lathe operations, adherence to quality standards, and a focus on efficiency and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC lathe machines to produce components according to drawings and job orders.
• Load raw materials and perform necessary adjustments to achieve required dimensions.
• Monitor machine operations to ensure consistent product quality and precision.
• Conduct routine checks, measurements, and inspections using gauges, micrometers, calipers, and other measuring tools.
• Perform basic troubleshooting of machines and report mechanical or quality issues to the supervisor.
• Maintain accurate production records and report daily output.
• Ensure all finished components meet quality standards and tolerances.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and maintain cleanliness around the work area.
• Collaborate with the production and maintenance teams for machine upkeep and improvements.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 0 TO 4 years of experience in operating CNC lathe machines.
• Strong knowledge of reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
• Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments.
• Basic knowledge of CNC programming and offsets (preferred).
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
