Job Summary: The HR Assistant Manager supports the HR Manager in overseeing HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, compliance, and policy implementation. This role requires strong leadership, interpersonal, and organizational skills to ensure HR practices are effectively implemented across the organization. --- Key Responsibilities: 1. Recruitment & Onboarding Assist in developing job descriptions and posting job ads. Screen candidates, conduct initial interviews, and coordinate with departments for further rounds. Oversee onboarding and induction processes for new employees. 2. Employee Relations Address employee concerns and grievances in a timely manner. Promote a positive workplace culture and open communication. Support disciplinary actions in accordance with company policy. 3. Performance Management Coordinate performance appraisal processes. Assist managers in setting KPIs and evaluating employee performance. Identify areas for employee growth and development. 4. Training & Development Identify training needs in collaboration with department heads. Organize internal and external training sessions. Monitor effectiveness of training programs. 5. HR Policy & Compliance Ensure HR policies are up to date and in line with labor laws. Support audits and maintain employee records. Monitor compliance with health and safety regulations. 6. Payroll & Benefits (Support Role) Assist with payroll inputs and employee benefits administration. Coordinate with finance/payroll departments as needed. 7. HRIS & Reporting Maintain HR databases and ensure data accuracy. Prepare monthly/quarterly HR reports for management. --- Qualifications & Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. 3–5 years of experience in HR, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or assistant managerial role. Knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
