CMM Programmer

We are seeking a skilled CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) Programmer to support our Quality Assurance and Manufacturing teams. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, optimizing, and executing CMM programs to ensure precision inspection of manufactured components. This role requires strong metrology knowledge, GD&T expertise, and experience with major CMM software platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, modify, and optimize CMM programs using software.
• Perform detailed inspection of parts, assemblies, and tooling using CNC and manual CMMs.
• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, 3D models, and GD&T annotations.
• Analyze CMM reports and inspection data; identify trends and quality issues.
• Validate measurement results and ensure calibration of CMM equipment.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to resolve dimensional issues.
• Create and maintain inspection plans, documentation, and work instructions.
• Support First Article Inspections (FAI) per AS9102 or applicable standards.
• Troubleshoot CMM machine/software problems and coordinate repairs or service.
• Ensure all tasks meet internal quality standards and customer specifications.

QualificationsRequired:

• 2–5+ years of hands-on experience as a CMM Programmer/Operator.
• Proficiency with at least one major CMM software platform:
• PC-DMIS, Zeiss Calypso, Mitutoyo MCOSMOS, Renishaw Modus, etc.
• Strong understanding of GD&T (ASME Y14.5).
• Experience inspecting precision-machined components (aerospace, automotive, medical, etc.).
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and 3D CAD models.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

Preferred:

• Experience with contact and non-contact measurement technologies.
• FAI and PPAP documentation experience.
• Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC) and metrology best practices.
• Associate degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or related field.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
