Summary:The Azure Cloud Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud-based solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop cloud-based architectures that meet business and technical requirements. The Azure Cloud Architect will also be responsible for providing technical guidance to the development teams, ensuring adherence to best practices, and maintaining the overall integrity of the Azure cloud infrastructure. Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement cloud-based solutions on the Azure platform. Design and implement scalable, reliable, and high-performance cloud architectures that meet business and technical requirements. Document designs with diagrams and decisions points in the proper knowledge base Provide technical guidance to the development teams on Azure architecture, best practices, and standards. Develop and maintain the Azure infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform, Ansible or similar. Implement and manage Azure services such as Virtual Machines, App Services, Azure Functions, Azure Kubernetes Service, and Azure SQL Database and similar. Bringing to service categories, Compute, Containers, Databases, Storage, Devops, Web and others. Implement and manage Azure networking services such as Azure Virtual Network, Azure ExpressRoute, Azure Load Balancer, and Azure Traffic Manager. Including Private End Points. Implement and manage Azure security services such as Microsoft Defender (former Azure Security Center), Azure Active Directory, and Azure Key Vault. Monitor and optimize Azure infrastructure performance, availability, and cost. Stay current with Azure technology updates and new features, evaluate and recommend new technologies and services to improve Azure solutions. Performs diverse complex activities, supports and guides others, delegates tasks when appropriate, works autonomously under general direction, and contributes expertise to deliver team objectives. Provides authoritative guidance in Azure being Accountable for delivering significant work outcomes, from analysis through execution to evaluation. Proactively enhances skills and impact in the workplace.Required Skills and Experience:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing and implementing Azure cloud-based solutions. Strong experience in Azure infrastructure as code using tools such as Azure Resource Manager, Terraform, Ansible or similar. Strong experience in implementing and managing Azure services such as Virtual Machines, App Services, Azure Functions, Azure Kubernetes Service, and Azure SQL Database. Strong experience in implementing and managing Azure networking services such as Azure Virtual Network, Azure ExpressRoute, Azure Load Balancer, and Azure Traffic Manager. Strong experience in implementing and managing Azure security services such as Azure Security Center, Azure Active Directory, and Azure Key Vault. Strong experience in monitoring and optimizing Azure infrastructure performance, availability, and cost. Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools such as Azure DevOps, Git, Jenkins, or similar. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team environment. Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.Preferred Skills and Experience:Microsoft Azure certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-204, AZ-305, AZ-400, AZ-500 or equivalent certification. Experience in designing and implementing hybrid cloud solutions using Azure and other cloud providers such as AWS or GCP. Familiarity with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash. Experience in implementing and managing containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes. Knowledge of database technologies such as SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL and NoSQL.Education15 years complete education is required
