Description
As the lead architect for cloud solutions, you will play a crucial role in designing, delivering, and leading client-facing initiatives. Your responsibilities will include defining and enforcing architectural standards for cloud services, creating implementation guidelines, and developing tools to automate cloud operational requirements. You will also consult with stakeholders, provide technical support, ensure cloud security compliance, and assist in capacity planning and performance optimization. Your expertise in cloud IT disciplines, hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP, and advanced-level Cloud Certification will be highly valuable in this role. Additionally, your strong client-facing skills, ability to work independently across multiple teams, and passion for mastering recent cloud technologies will contribute to your success as a Cloud Solutions Architect. Key Responsibilities: - Serve as the lead architect for cloud solution design, delivery, and client-facing initiatives. - Define and enforce architectural standards for cloud services, including governance, security, and cost optimization frameworks. - Architect and develop tools and solutions to integrate, automate, and orchestrate cloud operational requirements. - Create implementation guidelines, reusable design templates, and best practices for cloud deployments. - Set engineering and automation objectives aligned with organizational and client needs. - Consult with internal and external stakeholders on cloud initiatives and new IT projects. - Provide advanced-level technical support, including root cause analysis for complex issues. - Ensure cloud security compliance following established security guidelines and industry benchmarks. - Assist in capacity planning, performance optimization, and operational readiness. Qualifications Required: - 5+ years of experience across at least two cloud IT disciplines, including technical architecture, network management, application development, middleware, database management, or operations. - Hands-on experience designing, deploying, and operating large-scale applications on AWS, Azure, or GCP. - Advanced-level Cloud Certification is highly desirable; AWS certification is mandatory. - Deep understanding of cloud service costing, optimization, and architectural best practices. - Proficiency with major cloud services and ability to implement proof-of-concept (POC) solutions. - Strong hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and familiarity with hybrid/multi-cloud environments.
