Your Role: CloudSecurity Engineer

As a Cloud Security Engineer, you will serve as a strategic partner toour clients, driving the design and implementation of secure cloudarchitectures , embedding security into DevOps pipelines , andstrengthening application security defenses.

KeyResponsibilities:

Design, implement, and manage AWS-native security controls (IAM, WAF, Shield, Security Hub, GuardDuty, Config, KMS).

Deploy and manage Application Security solutions including WAFs, anti-bot protections, and API security tools.

Implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation) with embedded security best practices.

Collaborate with DevOps teams to embed DevSecOps practices into CI/CD pipelines.

Conduct cloud security assessments, compliance checks, and risk evaluations.

Support regulatory and framework-based requirements (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS, SOC2).

Monitor, detect, and respond to cloud security incidents.

Provide technicalguidance and best practices for secure cloud adoption and applicationsecurity.
Requirements

35 years of hands-on experience in Cloud Security, DevSecOps, or AWS Security Engineering.

Strong expertise in AWS services and security controls.

Practical knowledge of WAF, anti-bot solutions, and application security,

Experience with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) and CI/CD pipelines.

Familiarity with compliance/security frameworks (ISO 27001/27701, NIST, CIS, SOC2).

Good understanding of cloud security monitoring, incident response, and automation.

Certifications such as AWS Security Specialty, AWS Solutions Architect, CISSP, CISM, or ISO LA/LI (preferred).

Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and client-facing confidence.
